about us

what is calisthenics?

Calisthenics is a multi-discipline dance sport unique to Australia that is practiced in every state except Tasmania.  It consists of a variety of items and performing either recreationally at an end of year concert or competitively at competitions throughout Victoria.

This performing art teaches students skills such as dancing, ballet, gymnastics, apparatus, figure marching and musical theatre - all in the one class.

Students range from 3 years old to 60+ and are grouped into teams according to their age as at the 31st of December.

who is twin city calisthenics?

Twin City Calisthenics is a committee run, not-for-profit club servicing Albury-Wodonga and the wider Riverina/Murray area.  We opened in 2017 and have gone from strength to strength ever since.

We operate out of our very own studio in Wodonga, kitted out with a sprung dance floor and floor to ceiling mirrors. We offer classes to everyone 3 years and over.

No experience needed!

Our highly trained and enthusiastic coaches are accredited with the Australian Institute of Sport to ensure that all our students receive the most out of their time at calisthenics.
